Defendant
must sign a M.O.P. contract.

Defendant
will be required to pay a minimum program fee of $50.00, payable
within three (3) months. Depending upon the seriousness of the charge(s),
the defendant could be required to pay between $100.00 - $300.00
in program fees, payable within six (6) months.

Defendant
will be required to perform a minimum of 40 hours of community service
within 3 months. Depending on the type of charge(s) the Defendant
could be required to perform between 50-200 hours of community service.
Supervision of community service work will be done through the State's
Attorney's Office.

Depending
on the nature of the charge(s), the defendant could be referred
to other outside agencies such as Life Crisis, the Health Department,
Adult Education, etc. as long as its pertinent to the case.

The
defendant will be required to complete all of their components of
the M.O.P. successfully before their case will be dismissed.

Upon
signing the M.O.P. contract, the State's Attorney will ask the Court
to place the case on the Stet Docket. You must waive your constitutional
right
to a speedy trial to enter into this agreement. The State's Attorney
reserves the right to keep cases on an "Active" status
for up to a year from the date the M.O.P. contract is signed. Upon
successfully completing the M.O.P. program, the State will enter
a Nolle Prosequi to the original charge(s).

If you are a student of Salisbury University you must attend and
document Salisbury University "Alcohol Education" program
within thirty (30) days of signing the M.O.P. Contract.
